Calvin Klein Collection - Menswear Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 Show in Milan (with interview)

One of Italo Zuchelli’s obsessions for next winter is a sweatshirt reinterpreted in different ways and materials. The shirt is another essential element of this wardrobe, produced in shearling and worn like armour. Colours are autumnal, comprised of army green, light caramel and charcoal grey. This Calvin Klein wardrobe is urban and high-tech, devised in a monochromatic palette. A cropped, hooded bomber jacket, another key player in this collection, warms up the suits beneath that are noticeably less numerous on the Milan runway this season.Interview:Italo Zucchelli:The obsession was ‘Obsession’ and I love speaking about it, I love these words. This is something that I have never done, to put words and letters on clothes and I really love these words, they are very iconic for Calvin Klein. But also they are very relevant today; we are all obsessed, we need an ‘Escape’ and so I wanted to use them. The collection was based on a concept of work-wear but in a very urban, modern and elevated way so I really wanted to express ‘chicness’ in the city with various party items.I tried to create them in new ways so there are moulded sweaters and some of them are felted and I tried to update the sweaters as much as I can because that is so important.Music from the show
